WWE Creative Reportedly Believe Fans Are Waiting For Enzo Amore, Limiting Big Cass Plans

WWE reportedly believe fans are waiting for Enzo Amore.

On August 3, Big Cass made his return to WWE. In the weeks since, he’s been locked into a feud with Je’Von Evans, although many fans have been surprised Cass hasn’t been as dominant as they may have expected upon his return, and now more has emerged on why the company perhaps aren’t getting behind him as much as viewers might’ve thought.

According to an update from WrestleVotes via Fightful Select, it’s believed some within WWE think the audience is waiting for Enzo Amore, leading to a feeling they can’t fully run with Big Cass as a character at present.

“WrestleVotes on Fightful Select has been told that while the idea is not unanimously agreed upon, there is a feeling among a few within WWE creative that the audience is waiting for Enzo Amore, and that, in turn, is hampering what creative can do with Big Cass as a character as a whole.”

Reports linking Enzo Amore with a move to WWE date back to the same time as similar news emerged about Big Cass. It seemed the company were intending on bringing them in together, although word around Enzo then shifted to speculation he could come back as part of NXT. You can read more about that here.

While Big Cass is over two months into his WWE return, Enzo Amore hasn’t been seen on either the main roster or NXT. For now, whether that changes in the near future remains to be seen.
