Enzo Amore Reportedly Planned For WWE NXT Return

Enzo Amore looks to be set for a return to WWE NXT.

On May 20, False Finish reported that Real1, formerly known to WWE fans as Enzo Amore, was backstage at that week’s episode of WWE NXT, with the news following Self Made noting that there had been recent contact between Amore and WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan is for Enzo Amore to return to WWE as part of the WWE NXT brand.

Dave Meltzer further noted that the situation of Big Bill, formerly known as Big Cass in WWE, is yet to change officially and he has not been discussed heavily within the company. However, speculation elsewhere continues that he could head to WWE once his All Elite Wrestling contract expires.

With Enzo Amore seemingly set for a return to WWE and Big Bill’s All Elite Wrestling contract status remaining uncertain, WWE are reportedly interested in reuniting the former tag team. You can read more about that here.
