NJPW Reveal Stipulation For Jon Moxley’s Wrestle Kingdom Match Via Official Graphics

Wrestle Kingdom has unveiled several official matches on its card, and one will be even more violent than anticipated.
As we’ve been covering, the fallout from New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Power Struggle event has led to a series of matches being confirmed for the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 21. Many of these bouts will see the company’s talent come out against that of AEW, and NJPW has now revealed the official match graphics for seven of these bouts, including adding a stipulation to Jon Moxley’s match with Shingo Takagi.
As revealed via NJPW Global on X, Moxley vs. Takagi will be a “Special Unbound Death Match”.
Elsewhere, another post from NJPW revealed all current match graphics, including that of Kenny Omega vs. Yota Tsuji as “The Cleaner” looks to reclaim the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for the first time in eight years.
As you can you see, five of these matches feature AEW-signed talent going up against New Japan talent in one form or another, including MJF making his official NJPW debut. All signs indicate that Moxley’s march will be a bloody affair, and that Wrestle Kingdom 21 will provide a wide range of matchups from big title matches to technical spectacles to violent altercations.
Plus, if Mercedes Mone has her way, we could have some big women’s matches on the card, too, as you can read here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on all officiall confirmed matches for Wrestle Kingdom 21 as we draw closer to the January 4 showcase.
