Mercedes Mone wants to join her fellow AEW wrestlers at the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom event.

Earlier today, New Japan Pro Wrestling held Power Struggle 2026 in the Hiroshima Sun Plaza. From it, six matches were made for the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 21 event, and five of them feature dedicated AEW talent. The confirmed matches feature Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, Will Ospreay, Gabe Kidd, and MJF. While many are excited for the bouts, some online have already asked for AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné to join the party, and it now seems “The CEO” is in favour of that idea.

On her X account, Mercedes Moné replied to a fan wishing to see her at Wrestle Kingdom, confirming her own desire to perform on the show.

Of course, while she hasn’t yet competed at a Wrestle Kingdom, NJPW’s spectacle event was where she made her first post-WWE appearance in 2023, coming out to confront KAIRI after she had defeated Tam Nakano in what remains the only women’s match in the show’s history. Still, a match at Wrestle Kingdom 21 wouldn’t be her first experience wrestling at the Tokyo Dome, as she took on Mina Shirakawa for both the AEW TBS and Undisputed British Women’s Championships at Wrestle Dynasty in January 2025.

Plus, Mercedes has been teasing being a part of Wrestle Kingdom for a while now, asking, “Who should I jump?” on social media to help start whatever feud she gets for the show. For now, though, whether she competes at the event remains to be seen.

While Moné waits to see if she’ll be involved, a former AEW World Champion’s NJPW debut has been confirmed for January 4. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Mercedes Moné potentially being involved at Wrestle Kingdom 21 as soon as we hear more.
