Randy Orton has unfortunately been out of action since RK-Bro were defeated by The Usos in the Winner Takes All tag title bout on the May 20 edition of SmackDown. The Viper is currently expected to be sidelined for the remainder of 2022 with a back injury.
As a result, Orton’s tag-team partner Riddle has had to go solo during his partner’s absence, with the former Raw Tag Team Champion often delivering Orton’s signature RKO as a homage to his absent best friend.
Speaking during an Instagram live with ProSieben MAXX, Riddle stated that Orton is in high spirits and is doing well.
“Randy (Orton) is still recovering from his injuries and hopefully he’ll be back sooner than later. I can’t give more of an update because I’m not a doctor and I don’t have one so, but I know Randy’s in high spirits for sure and he’s doing well.”
-Riddle
Riddle is set to take on Seth Rollins at the upcoming SummerSlam show, with his sights now firmly set on singles competition whilst he awaits the return of his RK-Bro teammate.
