Ricky Starks made his AEW debut on the June 17th, 2020, edition of AEW Dynamite by answering Cody Rhodes’ TNT Championship open challenge. Since then Starks has been a key player for AEW, competing in the tag-team division alongside his Team Taz stablemate Powerhouse Hobbs, whilst also reigning (unofficially) as the FTW Champion.

Despite his array of highlights during his stint with AEW thus far, many would still consider Starks to be an underrated member of the roster, and judging from his comments during a recent virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest, this is a sentiment that Starks himself agrees with.

Starks also named three other AEW talents that he considers to be underrated, including Ethan Page and Isiah Kassidy of Private Party.

“I really like Isiah from Private Party. I really like Ethan Page, Daniel Garcia. I think those are a good handful of underrated people, including myself.”

Last week’s Dynamite saw Starks team with Powerhouse Hobbs to take on the Young Bucks and Swerve in Our Glory for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, although the duo were unsuccessful, with Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland surprisingly emerging with the gold.
