Adam Copeland requires surgery for a fractured tibia.

At AEW Double or Nothing 2024, Adam Copeland successfully defended the TNT Championship against Malakai Black in a barbed wire steel cage match. It was an intense affair which left both men bloodied, but, if there was one particular moment which stuck in fans’ minds following the clash, it was when Copeland leapt from the top of the cage onto his opponent who was laid out on a table.

Now, we know that the ‘Rated R Superstar’ didn’t escape the match unscathed, as he has taken to X to reveal the unfortunate news that he has fractured his tibia and will require surgery.

Copeland has been TNT Champion for 69 days to this point, but the future of the title will likely need addressing in the coming weeks, particularly when a timeline has been established for his surgery and subsequent time on the sidelines.

Of course, we wish Adam Copeland a speedy recovery and hope to see him make a full return when he is healthy to do so.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the condition of Adam Copeland as soon as we hear more.
