Welcome to this week’s Wrestlepurists coverage of AEW Collision. On the show tonight we have Bryan Danielson taking on CMLL’s Hechicero, Red Velvet in action, The Bounty Hunter Bryan Keith takes on the Mad King Eddie Kingston, a six-man tag team match featuring Christian Cage and Patriarchy versus FTR and Daniel Garcia, Mark Briscoe addresses the crowd, and Queen Aminata versus Serena Deeb.
CONTINENTAL CROWN PROVING GROUND MATCH: EDDIE KINGSTON DEFEATS BRYAN KEITH
The match began with dueling chants cheering for both men. The match quickly spilled to outside, where Keith threw Eddie in the barricade, when they got in the ring they traded exploder suplexes. Keith managed to block a spinning back fist and countered with a Liger bomb on Eddie for a near fall. Eddie was able to endure and landed a spinning back fist on Keith who stayed defiant, Eddie continued his offense with machine gun chops after he put Keith in a sleeper hold to wear him, followed by DDT. Again a defiant Keith slapped Eddie with everything he had, but Eddie endured the slaps to counter with one more spinning back fist for the win. After the match, Tony Schiavone wanted to interview Eddie but Eddie suggested that Tony should interview Keith instead, and Toni revealed that Keith is part of AEW no and got the AllElite graphic. Bryan Danielson came out and raised Keith’s hand.

Jon Moxley was angry about how he got ambushed by the CMLL stars but he didn’t hold back on berating those stars from CMLL.
BRYAN DANIELSON DEFEATS HECHICERO
Hechicero was able to trap Danielson in a rear naked choke, but Danielson managed to find the ropes and escape the hold. Throughout the match, both men showed their technical abilities as they kept trading submissions back and forth. While in a submission Danileson, showed his toughness by not tapping out and managed to roll over and pin Hechicero for the win. After the match Hechicero ambushed Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli came to save Danielson from the assault.
HOOK DEFEATS THE OUTRUNNERS
This match was impromptu because HOOK requested it when he arrived at the arena. The Outrunners were able to have the upper hand at the start of the match, but while The Outrunners were gloating, HOOK got up with a cold stare and beat up both followed by locking in the Redrum submission hold for the win.
MARK BRISCOE INTERVIEW BY TONY SCHIAVONE
Tony welcomed Mark in the ring and Mark showed a lot of respect to Tony, Mark continued to talk about the six-man tag cage match last week. Mark got interrupted by The House of Black when the lights went out. Malakai mentioned how he likes magic tricks especially where the tricks make people disappear. Mark is now on high alert as Malakai plans to erase Mark from the world of wrestling.
SERENA DEEB DEFEATS QUEEN AMINATA
This match was a showing of strength from Queen Aminata versus the technical ability of Serena Deeb. After Aminata missed a running boot in the corner, Deeb took advantage of the opening and locked Aminata in a Figure Four but Aminata could escape. Serena managed to get Aminata to the center of the ring and made Aminata tap out with the Serenity lock for the win.
SWERVE STRICKLAND INTERVIEW BY TONY SCHIAVONE
Tony welcomed Swerve in the ring with Prince Nana, Tony mentioned that Swerve is the number one contender for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship and asked his thoughts on his match with Hangman Adam Page on this week’s Dynamite. Swerve mentioned that it is black history month and he’s showing respect for the stars and Champions in wrestling history like Kofi Kingston and Athena. Swerve told Tony that his name will also soon join that list in history that beating Hangman a third time would be a charm and that he wants to put Hangman behind him to make history as a black champion. Prince Nana was about to speak but Swerve cut him off to say that during his match with Hangman, he doesn’t want any interference from The Mogul Embassy.

Mariah May asked if Toni watched her match and Toni said that if you have seen one women’s match you’ve seen all of them, she directed her attention to Deonna Purrazzo and mentioned she’s ready for a public workout.
RED VELVET DEFEATS VERT VIXEN
Red Velvet didn’t waste any time out the gate she hit a backstabber followed by her Stir it up spin kick for the win, earning Red Velvet an Elimanor women’s championship match against Toni Storm next week on Dynamite.
FTR & DANIEL GARCIA DEFEATS CHRISTIAN CAGE & PATRIARCHY WITH SHAYNA WAYNE
This was a highly competitive match, FTR and Garcia are currently riding a big momentum wave after defeating The House of Black last week. In the final stages of the match, Garcia got the hot tag and hit a brainbuster or Nick for a near-fall, Nick countered with a fisherman suplex followed by stealing Garcia’s dance moves and a slap. Garcia tried to win a roll-up pin on Nick for another near-fall. Cage intervened and Nick managed to get Wayne’s World on Garcia for 2.99 near-fall. Everyone got involved with Killswitch hitting a chokeslam on Wheeler, Dax got taken out by Wayne’s World, and while Nick was distracted Garcia rolled up Nick again but this time he got the win with a pin giving Garcia even more momentum as he stared down Christian Cage who is the TNT champion.
