The Gunns Defeat The Hardys:

Towards the end of the match, Bullet Club Gold, Jay White/Juice Robinson got involved by pushing Jeff Hardy off the top rope. The Gunns hit their finisher and won the match. After the match The Gunns and Bullet Club Gold attack the Hardys until Ricky Starks runs down the ramp to attempt to make a save, but he is outnumbered and the heels regain the upperhand quickly. Then FTR come out and the same thing happens again. Finally CM Punk comes out to a huge pop to even up the numbers and clear the ring of heels.

CM Punk then gets on the mic and says he will see The Gunns & Bullet Club on Collision this week for a fight.

Mark Briscoe Defeats Jeff Jarret, Concession Stand Brawl:

This was a fun match that of course took us around a lot of the arena, good use of props etc and a lot of interferences.

Blackpool Combat Club Promo:

The Blackpool Combat Club are joined by Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita. Moxley challenges The Elite to a 5 vs 5 match. Himself, Takeshita, Yuta, Claudio & NJPW’s Shota Umino vs Hangman Page, Young Bucks & two other wrestler The Elite find to team with them. Bryan Danielson then takes over the promo and proceeds to build his segment later Tonight when he will be calling out NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada, who he will be facing on Forbidden Door.

Chris Jericho, Sammt Guevara & Minoru Suzuki Defeat Action Andretti, AR Fox & Darius Martin:

After the match, Renee gets in the ring to interview Jericho and she asks him about Sting who he came face to face with last week. Chris Jericho then challenges Sting to a 6 man Tag Match. Himself, Suzuki & Guevara vs Sting, Darby & an opponent of their choosing.

Sting then makes his entrance with Darby and they accept the challenge, saying they will announce their 3rd man this Sat on AEW Collision.

Tag Team Blind Eliminator Tournament Draw:

Tony Schiavone and RJ City randomly draw the first 2 names who will be teaming together in the tournament, but they don’t show or tell the viewers who they drew.

The Elite Promo:

The Elite cut a promo on Blackpool Combat Club, including accepting their challenge to a 5 on 5 match and that they will find 2 members to team with them. Eddie Kingston then comes into frame and says he’s happy to join them purely out of his hatred for Claudio Castagnoli, but he also gets to pick the 5th man. The Elite accept Eddie’s terms.

Adam Cole In-Ring Promo:

Adam Cole comes out and cuts a promo about how he came so close but he couldn’t get the job done in the match with MJF for the world title last week and how he couldn’t win… but MJF didn’t win either. He then calls out MJF and the two go back and forth. Tony Schiavone then interrupts to tell them that they were the two names drawn randomly to tag together in the Tag Team Blind Eliminator Tournament. As expected, neither man is happy about this, and MJF also throws a tantrum about having to wrestle again. NJPW’s Hiroshi Tanahashi, who MJF is currently scheduled to face at Forbidden Door, shows up on the Titantron. Tanahashi proceeds to call out MJF like he did last week, even though MJF didnt want the match. This causes Adam Cole to pressure him into saying he wants the match, he calls him a coward and urges the crowd with him to do so. MJF finally caves in and says he will show up and face Tanhashi at Forbidden Door.


Daniel Garcia & Zack Sabre Jr Defeat Katsuyori Shibata & Orange Cassidy:

Orange Cassidy accidentally smokes Shibata with the Orange Punch which lead to the finish and Daniel Garcia getting the win for the team. After the match all men get their hands on Orange Cassidy AEW International Title belt and have a staredown. Eventually only Shibata and Cassidy leave their hands on the belt, having and awkward moment before Cassidy hastily snatches the belt away from Shibata. A 4 way match between the four men is then announced for Forbidden Door on Commentary.

Will Ospreay Interview With Alex Marvez:

Alex Marvez asks Will Ospreay if he is okay, and then asks him why he would say the bad things he’s said about Canada even though he is heading there to face Kenny Omega. Will Ospreay then says that AEW better have security for him, and is then interrupted by Don Callis who proceeds to warn him how dangerous Canada will be for him and how AEW wont provide security for him. He then says he will help out Ospreay and look after him by providing him with security.

Toni Storm vs Willow Nightingale Video Package:

Video package capturing the two womens recent feuding and building to a match that is then announced as Toni Storm vs Willow Nightingale for the AEW Womens Championship at Forbidden Door.

Kris Statlander (c) Defeats Taya Valkyrie (TBS Championship):

Eddie Kingston Announces The 5th Man:

Eddie Kingston is in the ring cutting a promo about how the upcoming match at Forbidden Door and how he doesn’t like some of the things that he’s seen going on, pointing to how Jon Moxley has been running with Claudio Castagnoli, who he hates. Moxley then makes his way to the ring and the two argue about who each man is aligning themself with. Eddie Kingston gets tired of the talking and announces the 5th man is NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii. Ishii makes his entrance but The Blackpool Combat Club (not including Moxley) all jump Kingston. Ishii then gets to the ring to try make the save, but is outnumbered.

As the Blackpool Combat Club continue their beatdown, Bryan Danielson grabs a mic and says Okada isnt coming, and if he doesnt come out right now, hes gonna stomp out Ishii. Kazuchika Okada’s music then hits and he makes his way to the ring for a face to face with Bryan Danielson. Yuta attempts to jump Okada but ends up on the receiving end of a Rainmaker.
