The former World of Stardom Champion’s future remains up in the air heading into 2024.

Over the past few weeks, speculation has been rife about the future of World Wonder Ring STARDOM’s Giulia, with reports suggesting that WWE are highly interested in acquiring her services. The Donna Del Mondo leader’s contract is believed to be up in March of next year, although it now appears as though a major competitor for WWE has taken themselves out of the race.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that no conversations have been held between Giulia and AEW, with the current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion only considering a move to WWE or staying in Japan.

“AEW has never made a serious play for Giulia and she’s had no conversations with AEW and is not considering them. It’s WWE or staying in Japan.”

Giulia is set to defend her NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship against Megan Bayne at Stardom Dream Queendom on December 29th, and the 29-year-old also currently reigns as one-third of the Artist of Stardom Champions alongside her DDM stablemates Thekla and Mai Sakurai.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Giulia as soon as we hear more.
