News emerged last night regarding the arrest of AEW’s Jeff Hardy on multiple charges, including a DUI.

AEW President Tony Khan has now issued a statement regarding Hardy’s arrest, condemning his actions, and revealing that he will be absent from AEW TV until he has successfully completed treatment.

Hardy was scheduled to team with his brother Matt to take on Jurassic Express and The Young Bucks in a ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships tomorrow night on Dynamite, although all promotional material involving Hardy has since been pulled, with an extended absence now expected as the statement implies.

As always, we wish Hardy the best in his recovery, and hope that he is able to maintain his sobriety moving forward.
