A new report has detailed the location of Forbidden Door 2024.

Since 2022, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door has been a highlight of the wrestling calendar. Due to the nature of the crossover show, interest has always been high in the location of the event, for the first year, it was held in Chicago, Illinois, and last year the pay-per-view emanated from Toronto. With NJPW involvement, many wonder whether Forbidden Door would ever be broadcast from Japan, but it appears as if we’ll have to wait for the show to travel outside North America.

Now, per Andrew Zarian, it’s believed that AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will be staged in New York City, taking place in Arthur Ashe Stadium, a very familiar home for Tony Khan’s company.

Arthur Ashe is the place at which All Elite Wrestling usually hold their Grand Slam event, so it remains to be seen whether the placement of Forbidden Door in June at this venue will alter the plan for the September show. Still, fans will certainly be excited to see the stars of AEW and NJPW collide in New York this June.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the plan for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door as soon as we hear more.
