AEW WrestleDream Officially Headed To Florida On October 17
All Elite Wrestling has revealed more details on this year’s WrestleDream pay-per-
Debuting in 2023, the WrestleDream PPV is one of the more recent additions to the AEW calendar, but the company have gone out of its way to make it feel important each time it comes around, with the show having played host to memorable matchups the gruesome I Quit match between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley that headlined last year’s event. Now, more has emerged on when and where fans can expect this year’s WrestleDream to take place.
As noted by the official All Elite Wrestling X account, the show will take place at the Addition Arena in Orlando, Florida on October 17th. This will be the first time the PPV has been in Florida, and AEW’s first time back in Florida for a PPV since World’s End PPV 2024, where they were also at the Addition Arena.
The first iteration of WrestleDream featured the all-time classic match between Bryan Danielson and Zack Saber Jr., which kicked off Danielson’s retirement tour. The next year, the show ended with Danielson being taken out by the Death Riders, the catalyst for another 12 months worth of storylines across Jon Moxley’s fourth reign as AEW World Champion.
2023’s show also showcased the AEW debut of Adam Copeland, while last year featured ended with Samoa Joe turning heel, which would lead to him winning at the Full Gear pay-per-view the following month.
