AJ Styles has been absent from WWE television for the entirety of 2023 thus far after breaking his ankle during a live event in December of last year. PWInsider reported last week that Styles was still waiting to be cleared to return to the ring, and it now appears as though we may be one step closer to that being the case.
PWInsider Elite are now reporting that the former WWE Champion is in Texas ahead of tonight’s episode of Smackdown, with the highly anticipated Draft set to get underway.

As of writing, there has yet to be any confirmation regarding Styles being cleared to ring, although his presence at tonight’s show may indicate that we’re moving closer to that happening.
Styles, alongside his OC stablemates The Good Brothers, are set to be in tonight’s Draft pool, and thus regardless of whether Styles is cleared to compete or not, it seems as though we’ll be finding out which brand he’ll be on moving forward.
