Austin Creed Calls Out Kenny Omega For “Ignoring” A Fan’s Gaming Challenge
Austin Creed has poured more “fuel onto the fire” with his “rivalry” with Kenny Omega.
While waiting to make their next move following their departure from WWE in April, Austin Creed and his former New Day partner Kofi have been making the rounds airh various gaming and media appearances. Currently, Austin and Kofi are at the National Sports Collector’s Convention in Chicago, and while interacting with a fan, Austin was quick to throw shade at Kenny Omega.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Austin Creed taunted Kenny Omega for ‘ducking’ a fan’s challenge.
For those who don’t know, Austin and Kenny have a deep-rooted gaming rivalry, as seen when The New Day battled The Elite at Street Fighter V during E3 in 2018. In fact, their crossover showdown got enough traction that the two sides attempted to make a trios match happened between them, either in WWE or elsewhere. You can read more about that here.
Of course, another reason fans are hyped to see Creed call out Kenny Omega is due to the links between the former New Day members and a move to AEW. In fact, the duo recently released a video called “Daybreak,” highlighting their newfound freedom, which you can watch here.
The video further punctuated how much fans want to see what Creed and Kofi do next, especially if it’s a move to All Elite Wrestling. Should they sign with AEW, many tag team bouts await, including a long-awaited dream match with the Young Bucks as well as a singles match between Kenny Omega and Austin Creed.
