Baron Corbin Reportedly Done With MLW, Believed To Be Returning To WWE

Baron Corbin looks to be on his way back to WWE.
Last weekend, Dave Meltzer reported that Baron Corbin returning to WWE has been heavily discussed internally and speculated that he could be involved in Danhausen’s latest scheme. With speculation continuing to grow regarding his future, we now have another update on the possibility of that return.
According to Fightful Select, Bishop Dyer, formerly known as Baron Corbin in WWE, has wrapped up with several promotions, including Major League Wrestling, and is believed to be heading back to WWE.
“Fightful Select has learned that Baron Corbin has finished up obligations with some companies he had been working with regularly. Among them included MLW, where he teamed with Donovan Dijak as the Skyscrapers. Those that we spoke to in the industry believe that he is either signed by WWE or will be imminently.”

Baron Corbin’s initial 12-year tenure with WWE came to an end on November 1, 2024, when his contract expired and was not renewed. Corbin departed as a former WWE United States Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion, in addition to having won the 2019 King of the Ring tournament among other accolades.
Following his departure from WWE, Baron Corbin initially competed on the independent scene for promotions such as Game Changer Wrestling under his real name, Tom Pestock, before later adopting Bishop Dyer as his new ring name.
Dyer has primarily competed for Major League Wrestling since debuting for the promotion in April 2025 and is currently one half of the MLW World Tag Team Championship holders alongside fellow former WWE Superstar Donovan Dijak as The Skyscrapers.
