Bianca Belair has been made into a star. She has had a rise in WWE that few talents could better. She’s been Women’s Champion of both Raw and Smackdown, won the Royal Rumble in 2021 and even became one of the first two black women to main event a WrestleMania, alongside Sasha Banks.

Someone with a similar fast start in WWE is Ronda Rousey. She’s achieved similar achievements to Bianca Belair, including a Rumble win, so a potential match between the two has got fans dreaming. When appearing on Sports Illustrated’s ‘Laces Up’, Bianca has admitted she would ‘run towards’ a match against Ronda and, with both being champion, Survivor Series is looking like a probable destination for the showdown.

“I’m a competitor. I’ve been a competitive my whole life. I love and crave competition. So and I’m always trying to prove that I’m the best. That’s why I call myself the EST of WWE. Any time I can step in the ring with someone else with the caliber of Ronda Rousey, I’m gonna run towards the opportunity. So as long as she’s still champion and I’m still champion at Survivor Series, we might see Bianca Belair vs. Ronda Rousey,”

-Bianca Belair.

Also, the topic of intergender matches came up. It’s a rarity but some women, like Chyna and Beth Phoenix, have competed against men in WWE. Belair admires this and may look to take inspiration from them in future.

I would love to. I mean I am a fan of Chyna, I am a fan of Beth Phoenix, the women who have done it before and gotten in the ring with men. So, I would love to. But right now, I will say our women’s division is stacked enough”

-Bianca Belair.

Speaking of the women’s division, tonight will see Belair take on Carmella at Money In The Bank for the Raw Women’s Championship. Though, maybe in future we will see the clash with Ronda or a monumental face off with a male competitor.
