Braun Strowman thinks his WWE feud with Roman Reigns is among the very best.

In 2017, when Braun Strowman was finding his feet in the singles division on RAW, ‘The Monster Among Men’ clashed with Roman Reigns in an incredibly intense feud. Memorably, he even overturned an ambulance with Reigns inside in the lead up to their match at Great Balls Of Fire, with the moment helping elevate the star towards the top of the card. All in all, the pair having numerous hard-hitting encounters to look back on, and Strowman has now said he’d put the rivalry against any other in history.

Appearing on Rewind Recap Relive, Strowman said his feud with Reigns is up there with the best in WWE history.

“I’ll put the feud I had with Roman Reigns through ’17, ’18, ’19 into ’20 up against any feud in the history of the business, and I’m gonna say that it’s as good or f*cking better. Could be biased, but that’s my opinion. And opinions are like a**holes. Everybody’s got them, some of them stink.”

While they never clashed At WrestleMania, it’s worth remembering that Strowman replaced Reigns as Goldberg’s opponent at WrestleMania 35, as the COVID-19 pandemic meant ‘The Big Dog’ had to withdraw from the ‘Show Of Shows’ due to health concerns. As a result, the former member of the Wyatt Family won his first and only Universal Championship, forever linking his world title success with Roman Reigns.

Having returned to the company in 2022, Braun Strowman was unfortunately released by WWE for a second time in May 2025. As of writing, the 42-year-old is yet to return to the ring, and is instead focusing on ventures like his food travel show ‘Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman’ which USA Network recently renewed for a second season.
