Brock Lesnar will not be on WWE programming in the near future.

Following Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, which made graphic allegations of sexual exploitation by McMahon and several co-conspirators, Brock Lesnar has been taken out of all creative discussions. The lawsuit detailed the involvement of a “former UFC champion,” suggesting it was Lesnar as he is the only wrestler in the company who fits that description.

Lesnar was supposed to return at Saturday’s Royal Rumble event, where he would start building to a match against Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WrestleMania. However, with the filing of the lawsuit, Lesnar’s creative was essentially given to NXT’s Bron Breakker (including being eliminated from the Royal Rumble match by Dominik Mysterio), who appears to be getting called up to WWE’s main roster soon. It’s unclear if Breakker will have the match with Gunther at WrestleMania.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson is reporting that there are no longer any creative pitches for Lesnar being made.

“WWEShop has placed 99% of all merchandise related to Brock Lesnar on discount sale. In speaking to WWE sources today, it was said that going forward Lesnar is “off the table” from all creative pitches.”

On Thursday, Johnson also confirmed that Lesnar was to be removed from WWE 2K24 and other places where his likeness was previously featured, such as the Supercard mobile game (where he was already removed).

As always, we will aim to provide more information on Brock Lesnar and his alleged involvement in what Ms. Grant’s lawsuit detailed.
