A report has come out detailing why Bryan Danielson hasn’t been as active in-ring in recent times.

Blackpool Combat Club member Bryan Danielson has been locked into a faction war with The Elite for the last few months. In this time, there have been many clashes involving members of each group, including iterations of Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli doing battle with Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page.

However, aside from the ‘Anarchy In The Arena’ spectacle which closed Double Or Nothing, fans may have noticed that Bryan Danielson’s in-ring time hasn’t been equal to that of his stablemates, with the star often seen doing commentary during matches involving the BCC rather than competing.

To expand on this, a report from Fightful Select has revealed that Bryan Danielson is currently ‘banged up’ and is managing his in-ring time as a result.

“Fightful Select has learned that Bryan Danielson has been “banged up” of late, and there were some spots limited in his AEW Double or Nothing 2023 Anarchy in the Arena match as a result.”

Danielson’s last match prior to Double or Nothing on May 28 came in March, when he wrestled MJF in a sixty minute iron man match over the AEW World Championship.

Of course, Bryan’s next in-ring outing is a dream match for the ages, as he is set to compete against Kazuchika Okada at this Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the condition of Bryan Danielson as we hear more.
