An update has come regarding when fans can expect to see Bryan Danielson return from injury.

On June 25, Bryan Danielson competed in a dream match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Despite The American Dragon coming out on top, he suffered a fractured forearm during the contest and has been absent from the ring for over a month.

To provide an update on Danielson’s condition, Dave Meltzer has written in the Wrestling Observer that the 42-year-old isn’t expected to be medically cleared for either All In at Wembley or All Out in Chicago with October being the most likely return date.

“Bryan Danielson got his surgery for his broken arm on 7/3 and that the time was told three months before he could return, although it’s possible he could beat that by a week or two. All In and All Out are out, Wrestle Grand Slam doesn’t look good but I don’t want to say impossible, but he should be back in October

-Dave Meltzer

This will understandably disappoint those who will be in attendance at Wembley and were hopeful of seeing Bryan at the event. Though, with October just two months away, it won’t be too long before fans are able to see The American Dragon back and competing again.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any updates on Bryan Danielson and his injury status as we hear more.
