We now have a potential spoiler on when Carlito is expected to make his WWE return.
Earlier this month, talk emerged claiming that Carlito had signed with WWE. Further speculation emerged upon the Puerto Rican cancelling an indie booking, and it now appears as though his return to WWE may be locked in.
A new report from PWInsiderElite.com has revealed that talk of Carlito’s WWE return is being targeted for the July 7th edition of Friday Night SmackDown at Maddison Square Garden, thus pointing to him joining the blue brand.
“PWInsiderElite.com has heard from multiple WWE sources that the 7/7 Friday Night Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in NYC is targeted for Carlito’s return to the company. So, he’s heading to the Blue brand.”

Carlito made an appearance at last month’s Backlash premium live event in his home nation of Puerto Rico, aligning with the Latino World Order during Bad Bunny’s match with The Judgement Day’s Damian Priest.
With the LWO having been drafted to SmackDown, it’s possible that Carlito could once again be set to link up with the stable, although the specifics regarding his return are yet to be revealed.
