CM Punk is never too proud to tell people just how much he loves and admires Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart.
On Sunday night at AEW’s Revolution PPV, CM Punk defeated MJF in a gruesome Dog Collar Match. After the match at the PPV’s Media Scrum, CM Punk got emotional and was very open about how fortunate he believes he is for being able to have a second chance in wrestling:
“I love Bret Hart, His career was cut short, and it’s a god damn tragedy because there are people who go over to Saudi Arabia and get paid millions of dollars… that should have been Bret.”
“I just feel super fortunate and grateful that I got a second chance, I’d give it up in a heartbeat to give it to Bret. I just love that mother fucker so much. He’s the greatest of all time.”
