CM Punk Wishes Roman Reigns Brought The Same Energy To WWE TV As His Car Promo
CM Punk wanted to see the same Roman Reigns on WWE TV as on social media.
On Thursday, April 16, Roman Reigns shared a promo to social media addressing CM Punk ahead of their match at WrestleMania 42, with many fans praising the promo as Reigns’ best work throughout the build towards the event.
Appearing on Get Up on ESPN ahead of WrestleMania 42, CM Punk had the chance to respond to Roman Reigns and claimed that he wishes his challenger would have brought the same energy to WWE TV.
“Man, I wish he brought that energy the days he actually decided to show up on a couple of Mondays. I take nothing away from Roman. Tremendous superstar. He has the credentials. He’s a heavyweight. He’s gonna be a tough out for me, but I am not looking to lose on Sunday. And I’m sure he isn’t either. But this is about pro wrestling versus cinema and I’m glad that he had four days to shower and think about what he would say to me in a rebuttal and did it in a car while I wasn’t around. But I’m gonna be around and in his face on Sunday. I’m gonna send him to the orthodontist. I’m gonna make his orthodontist a very rich person.”

CM Punk is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 42 on Sunday, April 19, at Allegiant Stadium.
