Cody Rhodes On Triple H: No One Can Do That Job Better Than He Can Do It

Cody Rhodes thinks Triple H is the best man for the job as WWE’s Head of Creative.

Following Vince McMahon’s retirement in the summer of 2022, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took over as WWE’s Head of Creative and has overseen the company’s creative direction ever since, a role that has naturally brought its share of criticism from sections of the fanbase.

During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show ahead of Night of Champions, Cody Rhodes praised Triple H’s work as WWE’s Head of Creative, stating that he believes no one is better suited to the role than the man currently leading the company’s creative direction.

“In the wrestling space, nobody has a harder job than Triple H right now. There’s never been a booker in the history of the business that has just been beloved and revered the entire time. No one can do that job better than he can do it.”

Rhodes was also asked about the possibility of one day becoming WWE’s Head of Creative once his in-ring career comes to an end. He admitted that he has always had an interest in creative roles but noted that he remains uncertain about what the future holds for him.

WWE’s Night of Champions is set to take place this Saturday, June 27, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Cody Rhodes scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against both GUNTHER and Sami Zayn in a triple threat match.

Elsewhere during the interview, Rhodes discussed his expectations for his in-ring future, saying he does not see himself wrestling in 10 years’ time. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Cody Rhodes as soon as we hear more.
