Three new rookies are coming to DDT.

DDT unveiled three new rookies during their Korakuen Hall event on Sunday. These new DDT wrestlers will all debut on December 9th at the same arena. It is currently unknown if they will all compete together in the same match or have separate debuts.

The three new trainees are as follows:

  • Haruki Satoh: He stands at 176cm, or 5’9”, weighs 100kg, or 220 pounds, and comes from the Niigata prefecture. He was born on June 1, 2002, and has a background in Judo.
  • Maito Furuhashi: He stands at 198cm, or 6’6”, weighs 98kg, or 216 pounds, and comes from the Aichi prefecture. He was born on October 10, 2007, and also has a background in Judo.
  • Shuntaro Kobayashi: He stands at 182cm, or 5’8”, weighs 86kg, or 190 pounds, and comes from the Chiba prefecture. He was born on November 11, 2000, and has a background in Baseball.

That is currently everything we know about this fresh new duo, but if DDT’s recent stretch of rookies are anything to go by, they will all have plenty of opportunities to succeed.

On the same show, DDT also introduced Kouhei Sueyasu as a new ring announcer for the promotion. According to the promotion, he is a part of the same talent agency as Tetsu Inada, a part time wrestler for DDT and the man who does the voiceovers for DDT’s major video packages.

Speaking of DDT, the company recently announced that Shinya Aoki will soon become a full-time member of their roster. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the new DDT rookies as soon as we hear more.
