The former two-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion is set to return to WWE.

On April 14th, East Coast Pro Wrestling announced that former WWE Superstar Erick Rowan’s appearance for the promotion had been cancelled due to “new contractual obligations”, prompting speculation that he may have rejoined WWE.

It now appears as though that is indeed the case, as a recent report from PWInsiderElite.com has confirmed that Rowan has officially signed a new deal with WWE.

With the return of Bo Dallas seemingly impending, many have speculated that the brother of the late Bray Wyatt could be set to form a faction of his own under the Uncle Howdy gimmick, and thus its possible that former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan could feature as a part of this group.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Erick Rowan as soon as we hear more.
