Stardom

On February 10th, Himeka announced in a press conference that she will retire from in-ring competition when Stardom runs at the Yokohama Arena on April 23rd. Her retirement ceremony will take place on May 14 at Korakuen Hall. With just being 25-year-old, Himeka retires at a very young age. The Triangle Derby heads into its final weeks with just one Block Show left before the final. In the Blue Triangle Block, the undefeated Abarenbo GE already secured their ticket to the semis while Prominence, Gold Ship and Rebel x Enemy are still fighting for the last spot. In the Red Triangle Block, three teams still have the chance to advance. The Queen’s Quest trio and 7Upp have the best chances to advance, with both heading into the final night with 9 Points each. TJPW

Tokyo Joshi Pro held a Korakuen Hall show on Saturday with their build-up toward Grand Princess. Before the opening match, it was announced that the new Rookies Touga, Haru, and Momo will make their debut soon. Touga will debut on March 6th while Haru and Momo will debut on March 18th. Arisu Endo was able to defeat Moka Miyamoto to gain her first-ever singles win of her 2-year long career. Arisu has been brewing to get her moment for a while now. Her defeating Moka is a step in the right direction

TJPW crowned the winner of the 3rd Max Heart Tournament at Saturday’s Korakuen Hall Show. In a fantastic Main Event, the tournament favorites Maki Itoh and Miyu Yamashita defeated Hyper Misao and Shoko Nakajima to lift the trophy and get the right to challenge for the Princess Tag Titles at Grand Princess on March 18th.

The Final was one of the best Matches in the history of the promotion. Kyoraku Kyomei worked way better as a team and were able to isolate Itoh and Yamashita from each other. 121000000 had a lot of miscommunications in their game which Shoko and Misao used perfectly. The longer the match went the better the eventual winners worked together and turned the match around for themselves and were able to win.
