AEW’s HOOK will reportedly explore his options this year.
HOOK is one of AEW’s top young stars. The 24-year-old is a second-generation wrestler and is currently in the midst of his second reign with the FTW Championship, a title that his father created in 1998. At one point, the ‘Cold Hearted Handsome Devil’ even had an undefeated streak spanning almost a year. However, he may not be remaining with AEW past the end of 2024.
Per SEScoops, it’s believed that HOOK is interested in exploring the free agency market once his AEW deal expires later this year.
“SEScoops has learned that HOOK (Tyler Senerchia) is interested in exploring his options in free agency once his contract with All Elite Wrestling expires later this year. A source familiar with WWE’s recruitment strategy commented, “I can see WWE clearly being interested in him”.”

HOOK now joins the list of wrestlers whose contract status will come into question this year. With WWE likely interested, as noted by the report, it’ll be interesting to see whether they make a move for the 24-year-old should he become available upon the expiry of his current deal.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on HOOK’s AEW contract status as soon as we hear more.
