Former NXT Tag Team Champions Io Shirai & Zoey Stark both currently find themselves out of action due to injury, with Shirai being absent from TV since NXT Stand and Deliver in April, whilst Stark has been sidelined with a torn MCL/Meniscus since early November of last year.
According to a new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter however, a return to action for both women appears to be set for sooner rather than later.

Whether the pair return as a duo remains to be seen, with a potential main roster call-up also possibly presenting itself to either woman. During Stark’s absence, Shirai teamed with the former Kay Lee Ray to win the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, with the duo choosing the pursue singles gold rather than the Tag Team Championships following their victory.
