Je’Von Evans Names New Jack As A Dream Opponent From ECW

Je’Von Evans has listed his ECW dream opponent.
At just 22 years of age, Je’Von Evans is one of the youngest WWE superstars currently on the roster. Born in April 2004, the current RAW superstar never saw WCW and ECW while the promotions were active, but “The Young OG” has now discussed who from those rosters he’d have liked to wrestle if he was able to step back in time.
Speaking with Muscle Man Malcolm, Evans named New Jack as his dream ECW opponent.
“I have to say New Jack, because fun fact. New Jack is one of my trainers. He’s actually one of the people that trained me. So he’s kind of like an Uncle, so Uncle New Jack”
-Je’Von Evans
New Jack, who sadly passed away in May 2021, was known for his wild weapon filled brawls in the original ECW. He often brought a shopping cart of weapons to the ring for his matches which usually ended with a guitar being broken over his opponents head. A match with Evans would’ve seen his brawling combatted with incredible high-flying athleticism.
Evans began his career in 2018, mainly competing under the name “Jay Malachi”. He captured fans’ attention through his work with Deadlock Pro Wrestling, and was signed by WWE in 2023. Now, he’s a regular feature on RAW as part of the Intercontinental Championship scene.
