The legendary Jim Ross is returning to AEW tonight.
JR was off the road for several weeks to focus on his health, as he was dealing with a wound that had not healed properly after his treatment for skin cancer. On the latest episode AEW Control Center, Tony Schiavone announced that Ross would be back on TV for tonight’s Dynamite, marking his first appearance since early November.
JR’s contract reportedly expired some time in late September or early October, with both sides working towards a new agreement. This announcement suggests that some kind of agreement has been reached.
