Jonathan Gresham came out victorious in his ROH Championship defence over Bandido at Supercard of Honor XV, making him the only original ROH roster member to leave with their gold on the night.
The reason for Gresham holding on to the gold may have been revealed, with the Wrestling Observer Newsletter providing an update on his believed status.
“It is generally believed that Jonathan Gresham is either signed or to be signed by AEW.”

This follows on from previous reports that Tony Khan was looking to have Gresham defend the ROH Title on AEW TV, with him being fully signed to the company making this a likely prospect for the future.
