It seems we are finally closing in on Kenny Omega’s return to AEW.
Kenny Omega, one of AEW biggest players, has been out of action since dropping the AEW World Championship to Hangman Adam Page at last Novembers AEW Full Gear PPV.
Kenny Omega accumulated a list of injuries which he was wrestling through last year, spending his time since his last match in November to take the proper time to get surgeries and give himself enough time to recover.
It was reported earlier this week by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp that AEW staff & talent have been told that Kenny Omega is now nearing a return, with plans of a 6 man involving the Young Bucks at the AEW All Out PPV being talked about.
In an update from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Kenny Omega is targeting All Out for his return, with CM Punk & Bryan Danielson also potentially back for the next AEW PPV in Chicago.
“He’s hoping to be at All Out but it’s too soon to say that he will or he won’t. He’s hoping for it. That’s kind of the target right now. I think it’s the target for Punk but I don’t know that either of them are sure things. Also, it’s probably the target for Danielson too.
Omega basically doesn’t really want to talk about it and nothing is for sure but he would like to be back for that show,”

Kenny Omega, CM Punk & Bryan Danielson are 3 of AEW’s absolute top stars, so the sooner they return the better. Kenny Omega has especially been missed by fans as he has now been out for such a long time.
