Since joining WWE in 2014, Kevin Owens has accomplished just about everything there is to accomplish, having held the NXT Championship, the Universal Championship, the Intercontinental Championship twice, and the US Championship three times, although he is yet to achieve Grand Slam status, due to the Tag Team Titles eluding him over the past eight years.

This hasn’t been for a want of trying either, as Owens has challenged for the titles on numerous occasions, most recently alongside Seth Rollins earlier this year.

Speaking on the TWC Show, Owens was asked about a potential reunion with long-time rival/partner Sami Zayn, with Owens reaffirming that the Tag Team Titles are still a goal of his.

“Of course. I’ve never been a tag team champion. I’d love to be tag team champion anybody. Well, maybe not anybody. There are a couple of guys I could see myself winning the Tag Team Titles with, obviously, Sami is at the top of the list. That would be the ultimate good moment for us, to achieve that. We’ve been tag team champions everywhere we’ve went, except for WWE. We definitely have to get that checked off the list soon enough,”

WWE’s Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Championships are currently unified, with the Usos holding both straps as Undisputed Champions. Both Zayn and Owens have history with the Bloodline that may potentially lead to a reunion down the line, as Zayn is currently an honorary member of the stable, whilst Owens believes the group owe him one after he laid out Drew McIntyre with a stunner on this past Monday’s Raw.

Time will tell as to whether the former PWG and ROH Tag Team Champions will reunite in WWE. The pair never seem to stray too far from eachother, and so we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see more interactions in the future.
