Kip Sabian And Penelope Ford Reportedly Not Nearing AEW Contract Expiry Despite Speculation
Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford appear to be sticking around in AEW for some time.
When All Elite Wrestling started building out its roster, it signed a lot of talent that hadn’t been seen on a major TV network before, including Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian. The pair have been “All Elite” since the start of the promotion, although there were recently rumours they were nearing the end of their deal. Now, it’s believed speculation regarding their future is unfounded.
According to an update from Fightful Select, it’s believed Sabian and Ford both have years left on their AEW contracts.
“Recently, desperate aggregators started posting Fightful’s contract expiration article without context, claiming that a bunch of deals were up in 2027 without appropriately applying context. Either way, among the deals that looked to be expiring around 2026 were Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. However, AEW sources confirmed to Fightful that is not the case. It was implied that the couple had re-signed at some point and now have years remaining on their contracts.”

Unfortunately, their time in the company has been inconsistent, largely due to injuries, but both remain valuable commodities to the company today. Penelope was a big part of the women’s tag division when it launched, teaming with Megan Bayne until she was sidelined with injury. As for Kip, his last AEW match came over a year ago, but many fondly remember his time with Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Killswitch in The Patriarchy. Plus, he was recently seen during the Andy Williams tribute show, and many were grateful he was able to mourn his late friend as he did.
Regardless of what comes next for them, it appears a change of scenery isn’t on the cards, as Sabian and Ford remain firmly part of the AEW roster for the coming years.
