Kyle Fletcher is said to be fine after fears he suffered an injury on AEW Collision.

At last night’s AEW Collision taping at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California, Kyle Fletcher faced New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s ELP in singles action. During the match, fans in attendance feared Fletcher had suffered an injury, but those concerns have since been eased.

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, Fletcher is believed to be fine following the match, with dehydration thought to have been the cause of the injury scare.

“Although multiple fans reported tonight that Kyle Fletcher appeared to have been injured doing his match on Collision, we’ve been told he appears to be fine. It was likely just dehydration.”

Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break will see Kyle Fletcher challenge his former Don Callis Family stablemate Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship.

Both Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada have vowed to bring the title back to The Don Callis Family, making it interesting to see whether ‘The Protostar’ can get the job done before the former champion looks to take matters into his own hands.
