Adam Cole has recently been suffering with an injury, although not too much else has been said about it.
Adam Cole was removed from a 10-man tag match that he was originally planned for on last week’s AEW Dynamite, it was then confirmed by Tony Khan on twitter that he was pulled due to injury and would be replaced by Hikuleo.
There has now been an update on what Adam Cole’s injury might be from Fightful Select, who report that it’s labrum injury and that the extent of the injury, though yet to be confirmed may actually be a torn labrum:
Cole has been dealing with a labrum injury as far back as his AEW World Title program with Hangman Page, and worked through the pain, based on what AEW sources tell us. Those that we spoke to claimed that the labrum was torn, though we’ve not had that confirmed by Cole or All Elite Wrestling themselves.

Hopefully Adam Cole isn’t suffering from a torn labrum as that could potentially lead to him missing a lot more in-ring time than originally expected. We of course are hoping for a speedy recovery.
