On the August 23rd edition of NXT 2.0, Santos Escobar reunited with his Legado Del Fantasma stablemates following a lengthy storyline with the D’Angelo family that saw Escobar ultimately losing a Loser Leaves Town match against D’Angelo. LDF had previously been forced to join the D’Angelo family, although Escobar’s return in August signified an end to this chapter of the group’s story.
The quartet, consisting of Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza, Joaquin Wilde, and Elektra Lopez, have yet to appear on WWE TV since reuniting, although it now appears that we know when and where they’re expected to show up next, as PWInsider is reporting that the stable are expected to be called up to the Smackdown brand
“For those who have asked where Legado Del Fantasma have been since they departed WWE NXT, PWInsider.com is told the current plan is for the group to debut for the Smackdown brand.”

PWInsider then noted that the stable may appear as soon as tomorrow’s Smackdown season premiere from Worcester, MA, with the company seemingly looking to make a number of changes to each brand.
Sources that PWInsider spoke to claimed that pitches were made for the stable recently, with the belief being that this week is when we’ll see the faction finally arrive on the main roster. The stable have been a highlight on NXT since debuting in 2020, and we look forward to seeing what the future has in store for them on the blue brand.
