Mara Sadè Reportedly Signs With AEW

Mara Sadè is believed to have joined AEW.

Back in August, it was reported that former TNA Knockout Mara Sadè was believed to be headed to AEW, although weeks came and went without any update on the situation. Earlier today, though, the star’s website listed her as an AEW talent, and it now appears that she’s part of the roster.

According to an update from Fightful Select, it’s believed Mara Sadè is now with AEW and has been since last week.

“Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Mara Sade agreed to a contract with AEW and it was in effect as of last week. Sade had conversations with WWE upon hitting free agency, and had an offer from TNA Wrestling, but ultimately signed with All Elite Wrestling.”

As yet, Sadè is yet to make her official AEW debut, leaving questions as to where she’ll fit in the overall roster. It’s possible she could go to Ring of Honor to establish herself before making a jump to Dynamite and Collision. Alternatively, she could be put with another woman on the roster to form a tag team to help bolster that division.

However, this could be the right opportunity for the promotion to introduce a woman to the Don Callis Family. Sadè is currently in a relationship with former TNT champion Kevin Knight, providing a genuine connection to the group should they choose to explore that avenue. For now, though, how Mara is integrated into AEW programming remains to be seen.
