With WWE growing increasingly trigger happy with their releases in recent years, it has become commonplace for ex-WWE talent to throw shade at their former employer following their departure.
The latest star to take a shot at WWE following their release from the company is Mia Yim, who in her only stint on the main roster was presented as Reckoning.
Speaking during a Twitch stream earlier this week, Yim commented on how current Smackdown star Shotzi no longer makes her entrance on her tank that she became synonymous with during her time in NXT.
“Shotzi don’t even have her tank anymore, because, you know, they [WWE] like to fix s**t that isn’t broken.”

A fan then suggested that Yim’s shortcomings in WWE were down to the HBIC’s lack of willingness to work with the company’s ideas. Yim shot down this idea on her Twitter, noting that she did comply with WWE’s ideas and still received her release.
Yim was one of almost 100 WWE stars released in 2021, and she has since found a home in IMPACT, where she looks to regain the form she had in NXT before her main roster callup as a member of Retribution.
