Sangre Azteca Jr., the reigning MPW Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion in Michinoku Pro, will have his final match for the time being in Japan on Sunday, November 15.

The 23-year-old has been in Japan wrestling mostly for Michinoku Pro since March, where he’s wrestled as a heel member of the Demonios stable with ARASHI and Yasutaka Oosera. He’s been the company’s top champion since June 12.

MPW have filled the card with five matches, with Sangre Azteca Jr. wrestling in the semi main event in a trios contest. He will be teaming with ARASHI and Oosera against MIRAI, Tsunagu Sato, and legendary Puro figure and MPW Co-President, Jinsei Shinzaki.

Fortunately for MPW and Sangre Azteca Jr. fans, this will not be the end of this fruitful partnership, as the promotion has announced that he will be back as a full time worker in 2027.

Before he makes his final appearance, Sangre Azteca Jr. will defend his world title against Sato on November 1. This will be the last chance anyone in MPW will have to take the title before he heads back to Mexico until next year.
