AEW To Have Special Twitch Collaboration Before Blood And Guts

AEW’s Blood and Guts will get some Twitch streams thanks to a new collaboration.

All Elite Wrestling has been trying numerous methods to expand its brand and, as a result, bring in new viewers. It has streams on HBO Max and has put its PPVs there at a lower price, with the aim of raising its profile. It’s also been doing occasional collaborations with Twitch streamers, and it now seems that’s something that’s lined up for next week’s show.

As announced by AEW on X, Twitch creators will speak with AEW wrestlers prior to Blood & Guts.

Should this work as intended, it could bring extra viewers to the marquis event, which will have two matches in the titular Blood and Guts cage. While this could give the AEW wrestlers an extra platform to perform in front of new eyes, it could also provide support as the promotion looks to compete with NXT on the same night.

Currently, all roads for AEW are leading to Full Gear, with multiple title matches already booked, and many more likely to be announced depending on how Blood and Guts goes. This is especially the case when it comes to the AEW World Championship, as Will Ospreay’s next challenger has yet to be decided.

Heading out of WrestleDream, many assumed Adam Copeland would be next in line, though Kyle Fletcher pinned “The Aerial Assassin” on this past Wednesday’s show. With all three men in the match, it’s likely fans will nest some indication as to the future world championship direction.

Speaking of AEW’s upcoming clash with NXT, WWE have announced two major names for this coming Wednesday’s show. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Blood & Guts as soon as we hear more.
