An update has emerged on Mickie James’ status with Impact Wrestling.
Mickie James is rightly considered an Impact Wrestling legend. Most recently, the 44-year-old was seen, unsuccessfully challenging Trinity for the Knockouts World Championship at Bound For Glory, however question marks have recently been raised over her future as many people have noticed her removal from the roster page on company’s website.
To provide an update on her status, PWInsider are now reporting that James has indeed departed Impact Wrestling, but it was made clear that the two sides are still on good terms and it’s just a case of the star taking a break from the company.
“In speaking with Impact sources, we are told that the relationship between the two sides remains fine but James is taking what was described to PWinsider as “a break” from the company.”

The report also noted that James’ position as a TNA original and icon in her own right means that the company would happily allow her to make her way back into the fold ‘at any time’, with no clear indication as of yet of when this may be.
