MIRAI Returns To TJPW On October 14, Set To Face Momo Sato

MIRAI is set to return to TJPW in a matter of days.
TJPW have announced that MIRAI will face off with their newest rookie Momo Sato on their upcoming Inspiration show on October 14. It will be the first time MIRAI will suit up for the promotion since TJPW Summer Sun Princess ‘26 on July 18 when she and Toga fell to Haru Kazashiro and Yuki Aino, who would take that momentum all the way to becoming the new Princess Tag Team Champions at Wrestle Princess VII on October 3.
Sato has had 14 matches as of writing since she made her wrestling debut at Summer Sun Princess. Since that day, she has had seven singles clashes, all of which she has lost, albeit she has showed some flashes of potential in all of those matches.
MIRAI comes into this upcoming as the reigning and defending GHC Women’s Champion, having won the belt on June 15. Since she made her last appearance with the promotion where she began her career, she’s mostly appeared in her new home company, Michinoku Pro, however she’s also had matches in SEAdLINNNG, Sareee-ISM, Tenryu Project, and multiple one-off freelance events. She also successfully defended her GHC Women’s Title against Nagisa Nozaki at her home town return show with Michinoku Pro.
MIRAI will prove to be one of the toughest early tests for the young Momo Sato, but it’s undeniable that she will learn quite a bit from the veteran.
Here’s the full card for TJPW Inspiration, as announced by the company on their Twitter. The show can be viewed live or on VOD on Wrestle Universe.
