An update has emerged regarding the condition of AEW World Champion MJF following Double Or Nothing.
The world title bout at last night’s Double Or Nothing saw MJF successfully defend his championship against Jungle Boy, Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara. However, the champiom didn’t come away from last night’s match unscathed as Darby Allin landed awkwardly of MJF’s forearm in the midst of the action. On top of this, many were worried when the current champion made his way to the post-show press conference with his forearm taped up.
To shed some light on the condition of MJF, PWInsider Elite are reporting that Friedman is not believed to have broken or severely impacted his arm and therefore shouldn’t be in a position to miss any upcoming AEW events.
“The update on AEW Champion MJF is that while he banged up his forearm last night when Darby Allin landed on his arm during a top rope powerbomb spot, the belief is he is OK and didn’t break anything. We are told he’s not expected to miss any time.”

As of writing, it’s unclear who the next challenger to MJF’s world championship will be, though, fans can look forward to the build for Forbidden Door beginning in the coming weeks.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any updates on the condition of MJF as we hear more.
