Former Pinnacle leader MJF has been absent from AEW TV entirely since the June 1st edition of Dynamite earlier this year, where he sounded off on his issues with the company, including the fans, talent, and AEW President Tony Khan, labelling Khan a “f*cking mark” in a moment censored by TBS.
It now appears as though a return may be upon the horizon for MJF, as Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that he is scheduled to be back on AEW television “somewhat soon”.
“MJF is currently scheduled to be returning somewhat soon.”

Prior to his work/shoot promo on Dynamite, MJF had been a key talking point across the pro-wrestling news world, with interviews and backstage reports making it clear that he was unhappy with his level of pay when compared to some of the company’s recent ex-WWE signings.
WWE are also known to hold an interest in MFJ, although should MJF make his long anticipated AEW return, it may indicate that he’s now ready to commit his all to the promotion once again, however only time will tell.
