Last night AEW presented their All Out PPV in Chicago, Illinois, a show that saw hometown favourite CM Punk recapture the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley in a brutal and bloody affair. Following the show, Punk spoke to the media at the AEW All Out post-event press conference, where he held nothing back, taking shots at Colt Cabana, Hangman Adam Page, and The Elite.
Multiple reports emerged following the post-show press conference detailing an alleged confrontation between Punk and The Elite, a situation that Wrestling Observer have now provided further insight into.
“According to multiple sources that lined up with some of Fightful’s reporting, there was a fight backstage afterward with Punk allegedly starting things by swinging fists at the Bucks’ Matt Jackson. Punk trainer/friend and AEW producer Steel (part of the storyline that got Punk into Sunday’s Jon Moxley match) threw a chair that hit the Bucks’ Nick Jackson in the eye. Omega was also involved with Steel grabbing his hair and biting him.

As of writing, none of the aforementioned names have commented on this alleged confrontation, although as pointed out by the Observer, this is likely due to the potential for legal action to be taken.
Time will tell as to how AEW President Tony Khan chooses to navigate this developing situation. Having already suspended Eddie Kingston in recent weeks for a backstage altercation involving Sammy Guevara, Khan may have set the precedent for these sorts of situations, although with the importance to the company of the names involved, the situation may need to be handled more delicately.
