‘The Greatest’ will soon be honoured in WWE’s Hall of Fame.

Muhammad Ali is among the greatest sportsmen of all time and contributions to boxing cannot be overstated, having three World Heavyweight Championships and an Olympic gold medal under his belt. Though, despite being a boxing icon, he also dabbled in the world of professional wrestling.

Famously, in 1976, Ali competed in a historic exhibition match against Antonio Inoki at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo which ended in a 15-round draw. He then went on to maintain a connection to the wrestling business by performing as the special guest enforcer for the tag match pitting Hulk Hogan and Mr T. against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff in the main event of the first ever WrestleMania.

Now, as first reported by Variety and later confirmed by WWE themselves, we know that Muhammad Ali is the latest to join the WWE Hall of Fame.

“Muhammad Ali will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024, Variety has learned exclusively.

The legend will be inducted by his widow Lonnie Ali and now joins Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano and The U.S. Express in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024 as soon as we hear more.
