Naomi has said that she had no doubts about returning to WWE.

In May of 2022, Naomi and Sasha Banks made headlines with their walkout of WWE. Having been unhappy with the treatment of the Women’s Tag Team Championships, the pair returned to the wider wrestling world, and, in Naomi’s case, she made her way to IMPACT Wrestling. However, questions always remained over her future, and the 36-year-old made her return to WWE to open the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble.

Speaking to Going Ringside, Naomi called WWE her home and revealed that she had no doubts about coming back when given the opportunity to do so.

“It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but it’s been a great journey and I’m extremely excited and happy to be back. Working my way back to the top, WWE is home. It was never a doubt about returning. It was just a matter of when and me wanting to prove some things and do some things that I needed to do for myself. I did that. I accomplished that. It was just time. I missed it so much. WWE is always family.”

Since coming back in January, Naomi has featured in the Elimination Chamber and has been seen competing on the SmackDown brand. Next up, she will team with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to take on Damage CTRL’s Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai on night one of WrestleMania 40.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Naomi as soon as we hear more.
